NASLIBS 2009
is organized by the ICET (Institute
for Clean Energy Technology),
Mississippi State University in collaboration with the ARL (United
States Army Research Laboratory), USA.
Particular emphasis of NALIBS 2009 will be placed on
"LIBS : from Research to Industry".
We would like to invite you to participate making NASLIBS 2009 as successful
as the last LIBS conferences and symposia. We are looking forward to
receiving your interesting contributions.
Main topics of the conference are new developments in LIBS fundamentals,
industrial and sensor applications, advances in instrumentation as well as
reliability, stability and mobility issues.
The main focus will be placed on LIBS for chemical analysis for industrial
and research for environmental, life science and geochemistry and security
applications. Particularly this year, a special
focus will be on security application and commercialization.
Conference
Topics:
- LIBS Fundamental studies
- Data processing for quantitative analysis and material identification
- Instrumentation
- Sensor applications (environmental, cultural heritage, life sciences,
geochemistry and spatial applications, security, field portable LIBS)
- LIBS for industrial applications (process control, on line analysis,
material analysis, remote systems)
- Short courses (basics of LIBS physics, Data processing for quantitative
analysis and material identification, instrumentation and applications)
